Hej.
Har en HPnx6110, der pt. kører Ubuntu 7.1 alt godt så vidt, udover at jeg bedre kan lide pclos..
Har pclos på en stationær og alt godt.
Jeg har prøvet med både 07 og 08 versionen (ren installation) af pclos, men installationen går altid i stå til slut, nu har jeg opgivet den på min nx6110.er.
Jeg har kørt suse, debian og andre - alle i ren installation på denne pc, pclos vil bare ikke
Nogen umiddelbar forklaring??

Jeg kan godt se at der er nogle problemer nogle gange med netop denne PC.
Her er hvad jeg kunne finde

Open up PCLinuxOS Control Center --> Boot --> Confirgure PCLinuxOS Boot Loader. Then make sure that "Enable ACPI" is checked.

try changing the acpi=on line in the grub boot parmaters on the main boot screen to acpi=force and see if it works. If not then remove the line acpi=on from your /boot/grub/menu.lst then go into the pclos control center -> system -> System services and turn off apci from starting at boot and turn on apmd to start a boot. If neither of these work then get a broom stick, cut off the straw portion with a table saw, whiddle down one end to match the size of the power button and use it to push the button without having to get out of your chair.
